Drata was built with customization and scalability in mind, without compromising automation. It’s why we’ve been building more features to tailor your company’s compliance program directly to your unique needs.

Our latest product updates reflect our commitment to customer needs. Learn more below about Drata’s latest updates, including SOX ITGC, Custom Frameworks, and mapping automated tests to any controls.

Custom Frameworks

While Drata has a number of frameworks pre-built for you to choose from, we know that customization is an important part of building a strong compliance program. This new feature enables users to create custom frameworks by importing requirements individually or in bulk. Once the requirements have been uploaded, they act as any other framework. Customers can map any control to those requirements and monitor readiness.

Mapping Automated Tests to Any Control

Drata’s automated test capabilities are no longer limited to our pre-built control library. Now, you can map our automated tests to any control, including custom controls unique to your organization. You can learn more about how these two features work together in this blog.

SOX ITGC Framework

With a perpetual commitment to scaling with our customers, we have added Sarbanes-Oxley Act Information Technology General Controls (SOX ITGC) as the latest framework in our library. SOX ITGC is required for public companies and highly recommended for private companies that will be going public, or being acquired by a public company.

SOX ITGC is a set of IT general controls and objectives that enable management to collect complete and accurate information as part of their annual financial report to timely report to regulators, investors, and stakeholders in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404. It’s one of the many additional frameworks we’ve added this year.

As the Drata team wraps up our summer, we are still hard at work building some exciting new features to release.
