Drata automates the compliance process and contains everything you need in one central location. From expanding connections to building out new features, our teams are diligently working to elevate your Drata experience.

In August, we worked on some integrations and enhancements that were highly requested by our customers. Read more about integrating your task management with Drata, configuring control notifications to your Slack channels, and other new releases to simplify compliance automation.

Two-Way Jira Integration

Using our new Jira integration, you can easily create Jira tasks to further automate your compliance journey. After tasks are created, you can view the progress in Drata and monitor task status at all times. This latest integration supports your team with seamless collaboration on team-wide issues. With just a few clicks, you can create Jira tasks and track progress in Drata, giving you peace of mind that nothing falls through the cracks.

Assign Jira tasks for controls and tests directly to team members, even those who don’t have access to Drata’s platform. You can also view in-progress and completed tasks in the connected control or test—making collaboration and communication more effortless than ever.

Customers can sign in to Drata and enable their Jira connection now (you must be logged in to view).

Notifications for Personnel Compliance Tasks in Slack

You communicate with your teams over Slack about company announcements, status updates, and so much more. With our latest enhancement to the Slack integration, now you can configure Control Readiness notifications to your Slack channels for daily or weekly alerts.

You have the ability to create as many Slack notifications as you need for increased visibility. Keep things simple by selecting the individual controls you want notifications for, or stay vigilant with alerts for every control. Once the controls have been selected, choose which channels you want the notifications to go to. You will receive notifications for controls that have failing tests as well as for controls with manually attached evidence that has expired.

Customers can sign in and can read more about Slack integration capabilities here.

Datadog Integration

Datadog is an observability service for cloud-based applications, providing monitoring of servers, databases, tools, and services. Datadog’s integration with Drata allows customers to ensure that their monitoring and logging practices are correctly configured and adhere to common security policies used across most companies. Drata customers can check out more details here (sign in to view).

Trust Center Pre-Approval

If you already have a signed NDA with a customer, prospect, or partner to enable them to access compliance and privacy reports or other attestation results—there’s no need to make them sign another one. Customers with Trust Center can now add trusted people and teams to a pre-approved list, so they don’t have to re-sign a new NDA when they request access to related materials.

Auditor Calendar and Vendor Archive

Users can now select future dates and ranges in the auditor calendar to stay proactive in their audit planning. Vendors can also now be archived and restored to customize Drata to your company’s unique security needs.
