Meet Kevin Kriebel, Drata’s new Vice President of Business Development.

About Kevin

The team has been growing fast at Drata and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our newest Vice President of Business Development, Kevin Kriebel. Kevin lives in San Diego with his wife, Tara, and two Australian Shepherds, Beau and Bear. When he and his wife aren’t playing board games—like Settlers of Catan—they head out to the beach with their dogs.

Kevin is also an avid Star Wars fan. He’s in the process of building a fully operational, life-sized version of R2-D2. Rumor has it his office used to be filled wall-to-wall with action figures from the well-renowned franchise.

Professional Highlights

Before joining Drata, Kevin built successful partnership programs as the Head of Business Development at ThousandEyes (acquired by Cisco), Expanse (acquired by Palo Alto Networks), and most recently as the Cortex BD lead at Palo Alto Networks. He has a passion for building better-together partnerships that lead to meaningful outcomes. Customers know they can rely on these partners to act as trusted advisors for best-in-class technology and services.

Kevin’s team includes Temisha Young who leads Drata’s Auditor Alliances and Joshua Padwa who is focused on VAR, MSSP, and Tech Alliance partnerships.

“Drata’s product-first approach and focus on being a center of trust has created an enormous opportunity for our partners to play a critical role in ensuring the operational effectiveness of the customer’s broader GRC program,” he adds.

What Are You Looking to Accomplish at Drata?

Kevin’s mission for Drata’s BD program is two-fold. One, enable auditors to leverage Drata’s compliance automation platform to provide their clients a more seamless and efficient audit process. And two, position Drata as the go-to platform for value-add service partners to better assist their customers in continuously improving their compliance posture. Partners will be a significant factor in Drata’s continued success and our commitment to them will reflect that sentiment.

We’re looking forward to seeing where Kevin takes the team as he starts his Drata journey. Drata is hiring across a number of roles and departments. Check out our open positions here.
