Global organizations often need to distribute the same policy in different languages to different members of their staff — some European country laws even require the acknowledger to be able to read the policy in their native language before accepting it. Multilingual Policies streamlines distributing a single policy in multiple languages.
What We Built
An end-to-end flow to create policy versions in different languages and distribute them to staff on the My Drata interface, whether the policy is authored directly in Drata or uploaded as a file.
- Settings: Admins set their tenant-level supported policy languages, including a default language. When authoring or editing a policy, they choose which of those supported languages to use for that version.
- Acknowledgement: In My Drata, end users see the policy in their default language (if set and available), or can switch between the languages included in that published version.
- Reporting & audit: No change to the Audit Hub reporting process — the primary-language PDF is still used for audits.
