SafeBase now supports Documents APIs that allow customers to manage documents programmatically.
What’s New
- Upload documents to SafeBase
- Replace existing documents with updated versions
- Delete documents that are no longer needed
- Manage document metadata programmatically, including:
- Assigning documents to Products
- Controlling AI usage permissions (opt-in/opt-out)
- Setting Document Types
- Managing assigned Tags
- Setting an Expiration Date
Important Notes
- Requires Dev Resources: These APIs require developer resources and custom implementation. They are more complex to set up than our plug-and-play native integrations.
- Linking Limitations: Currently, the API cannot link or unlink documents to specific Trust Center items. A user must log in to the SafeBase to perform that linking step to have them appear on the Trust Center.
- Availability: Available to paid customers on Advanced or Enterprise plans.
