The What
- Org admins can now control which notifications SafeBase sends to their organization, and on which channels — a subset of Email, Slack, or Teams.
- A new Notifications tab in org Settings shows 13 notifications in 5 groups: Trust Center, Trust Library, Documents, Questionnaires, and Integrations.
- Each notification has a toggle for each channel it supports. For example, an admin can keep "Access request" on in Slack and turn it off for email.
- The Slack and Teams columns stay disabled until the integration is connected. A tooltip links the admin to the Integrations page to set it up.
Notes
- All notifications stay ON by default. Nothing changes for a customer until an admin changes a setting.
- Existing settings for document download notifications and item expiration alerts carry over automatically.
- The tab controls organization-wide notifications only — it does not control personal notifications (e.g., question assignments and @mentions), and it does not control transactional emails (invites, NDAs, login links).
- Only users with permission to edit Settings can see the tab.
