February Product Releases: From Multiple MDMs to Internal Control Notes

February was a busy month at Drata as our team pushed many new feature releases live. As a customer-centric company, we like to center our product roadmap around solving customer problems and meeting their teams’ needs. Include Internal Control Notes
Make it easier to interact and communicate with your team within Drata’s platform.
You can now add internal notes to controls allowing internal teams and control owners to provide status updates or justifications for actions for all to view. Find out how to start writing notes here (you must be signed in to view).
Enhanced Notifications for Employee Offboarding Tasks
Control owners will receive an email notification reminding them to complete the offboarding tasks with a list of employees who have left the company.
With 52% of businesses admitting that employees and internal human error are the biggest threat to their data security, this feature will help your team keep things tidy as people leave the company.
Auditor View Updates
Drata wants to make the auditing process easier—for both you and your auditor.
With our separate auditor view, auditors only see the evidence they need to see. Auditors can download all of the necessary evidence in one simple zip file, making your audit seamless.
PCI and HIPAA are now live in the auditor view. Your auditor will see a list of personnel—in and out of scope—and company information in their pre-audit download package.
With our latest auditor view upgrade, you can see when an auditor has logged into Drata after receiving their invitation to the auditor view. This is located in the event tracking tab.
Connect Multiple MDMs to Drata
With employees working off of different operating systems, you may be using multiple mobile device management (MDM) software.
We have added the ability to add multiple MDMs to your Drata account. No matter how many MDMs you currently use, you can now link them all to Drata and rest assured all team members’ devices are continually being monitored.
Upload a New File to a Policy Without Making a New Version
As a growing company, you have your own policies and may want to upload a new file for one of your policies without creating a new version and alerting employees.
With this latest enhancement, simply upload your new policy and mark “This is NOT a material change” for minor changes. Once you select this option, the policy will be updated without notifying and requesting your team to accept again.
