Introducing the Drata Community: Where Customers Connect

Drata Community

The Drata Community is live — a private space to ask questions, share best practices, and learn from peers using Drata.

The best answer to a given question usually comes from connecting directly with someone tackling the same trust, security, risk, or compliance problem you are. Starting today, that person is easier to find.

The Drata Community is now open to all Drata customers. It’s a private space built for peer-to-peer learning, where you can ask questions, share what is working, and connect directly with the people tackling the same trust, security, risk, and compliance work you are.

We spent the summer in beta with a small group of customers. Their questions, answers, and feedback shaped the community we are launching. Now we are opening the doors to everyone.

What the Drata Community Is

The Drata Community is a private, customer-only space for practical conversation. It is where teams talk through how they actually approach their work in Drata, and how they handle trust, security, risk, and compliance more broadly.

The Drata community has two primary purposes. The first is peer conversations on how teams run their programs, configure Drata, and work through day-to-day decisions. The second is best practices and expert perspectives from experienced Drata users and Drata team members.

Why We Built It

Compliance work moves quickly, and no team should have to solve a problem a peer already cracked. The Community gives you a faster path to answers, a place to compare notes with people who run programs like yours, and a way to get unstuck without waiting on a formal support cycle. The result is a shorter road to value, whether you are standing up your first framework or scaling across several.

What You Will Find

Once you enter the Drata community, you’ll be able to:

  • Connect with peers who use Drata every day
  • Learn from customers who have already implemented Drata
  • Meet experts across the GRC space
  • Discuss trending topics and keep up with how trust is evolving
  • Expand your pillars of support
  • Find answers on your own schedule, self-service style
  • Pick up best practices straight from fellow professionals
  • Be the first to hear the latest from the Drata team

Who the Drata Community Is For

The Community is open to every Drata customer, and access is now available to all Drata customers (and will be available to Safebase-only customers in the future).

How to Join

Access is built into Drata. If you’re already logged into the Drata tenant, you can go to community.drata.com and click login there to create a profile. If you're not logged in, you'll be redirected to authenticate through your Drata application and then redirected to the community page where you will then create your profile.

That’s it — no separate account to set up. By creating your profile, you’ll be able to better identify and connect with other users that are in the same role, region, type of company, and more.

Join the Conversation

Trust work is better with others who get it. Join the Drata Community, introduce yourself, and ask your first question. Someone in there has likely already been where you are or is wrestling with the same challenges you’re dealing with. The whole point is to share what you’ve learned — and learn from others.
